Carnival Cruises' Carnival Panorama under going Sea Trials in the Mediterranean after leaving Fincantieri's Shipyard

Carnival Cruise Lines' newest cruise ship - the Carnival Panorama is undergoing sea trials in the Mediterranean. The newest Carnival cruise ship which will join the fleet this December has reached another major construction milestone. The purpose of the sea trials is to make sure the new ship performs up to the specifications of the contract. In addition the ship's systems are placed under an aggressive set of tests to assure the ship handles well and that all of the technical and hotel related services work effectively and any glitches are rectified before being delivered to Carnival Cruises.

Carnival Panorama headed out from Italy's Fincantieri's Marghera shipyard on June 29, 2019 .

The small ship, luxury exploration cruise line currently has 1 ship in operation - the World Explorer. Another ship under construction, World Navigator and another three ships expected.
