Saga Cruises New Spirit of Discovery at Germany's Meyer Werft Shipyard

Sunday May 26, 2019, Saga Cruises' Spirit of Discovery started her journey to the North Sea from Papenburg, Germany's Meyer Werft Shipyard. The modest size cruise ship headed down the EMS River which is expecting to take a day depending on weather conditions. The ship will  head out to the North Sea for sea trials to  test the ships maneuverability, technical systems and hotel operations.

After completing her trails the ship will undergo fine tuning and finishing touches in anticipation of her hand off the her owners at the end of June.
