Coral Expeditions' Announces Construction of the Coral Geographer For Delivery in 2020

Coral Expeditions has announced that they are building a sister ship to the recently delivered Coral Adventurer. The Coral Adventurer was delivered to Coral Expeditions on April 1st and sailed on her maiden voyage on April 24th.

 The 120-passenger Coral Adventurer has been specially designed by Coral Expeditions, marrying the company’s 34 years of experience building and operating expedition ships with latest advances in marine and environmental technology. The ship’s lightweight dual Xplorer expedition tenders,a trademark feature of all Coral Expeditions vessels,will extend the capabilities of the ship by allowing fast transit for all passengers with open views on shore excursions and deeper exploration into rivers and beaches. A new multi-purpose space, the Barralong Room, will host interpretive activities and projects that connect guests in an engaging format throughout their voyage experience.

The new vessel, the Coral Geographer, is under construction at VARD in Vietnam, and delivery is scheduled for December 2020. The Coral Geographer is expected to be built on the same plan as the newly delivered Coral Adventurer, The ship is expected to weigh in at 5,599 tons, measure 306.5 feet long, 56.5 feet wide, carry 120 passengers, 48 crew and sail at 13.8 knots,
